Jon has over 35 years of experience as a trusted advisor on behalf of corporations, major hospitals, not-for-profit organizations, Fiduciary Committees, and professional service firms concentrating his practice on employee benefits, ERISA, and Mergers and Acquisitions—including representation of domestic and foreign companies. Before joining Maselan & Jones, P.C. in 2011, he practiced with large law firms in Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago; was the Partner in charge of the Actuarial, Benefits, and Compensation Practice in the Boston Office of Deloitte & Touche; a shareholder and CEO of a New England-based actuarial, pension and employee benefits consulting firm; and most recently with the Retirement Practice in the Boston Office of Aon Consulting. Jon is a frequent speaker on retirement plan, pension, ERISA fiduciary matters.Jon’s experience in both large law firms and international consulting firms gives him a rounded perspective on the efficient management of employee benefits, pension, and ERISA matters by plan sponsors.
